Of the many garden rooms we have designed and constructed since 2008, a large number have home gyms, or offices and studios with gyms attached.
For many people it makes great sense to have a home gym, and even better to have it designed to meet personal needs and favourite fitness apparatus. Not to mention financial sense with gym membership prices seemingly increasing year on year.
Not only gyms, but saunas are increasingly popular, and where you may not have the space indoors, a small outdoor sauna, separate from the house works very well. They work even in the smallest of places, and there is nothing better than a sauna as a place for wellbeing, peace and relaxation.
Many of our buildings are leisure related, and none more so than a swimming pool house. From simple buildings housing pumps and a changing room, to large multi-functional buildings, we can design and build them all, whether traditional or contemporary in design.
If you are considering a gym and sauna, pool houses are ideal places to have them, and why not upgrade to a ‘home spa’ with the addition, perhaps of a steam room and shower. You can even have it thatched if you want!
Remember that here at SN Garden Rooms, not only do we build brand new garden rooms, we also refurbish and upgrade existing, old and underused outbuilding. So if you have an old outbuilding it is always worth considering. It is amazing what can be done with even the most tumbledown of buildings – and there are great cost savings over rebuilding.
Please call for a chat, whatever your plans, small or large, and we will be delighted to offer all the advice we can. In most cases we can give you a reasonably accurate estimate of cost by phone.
Whatever your choice a leisure building is a great investment in your body and soul, health and well-being ….. as well as your property!
As with all we do, whether for gym, sauna or both the building will be to your design and budget, meant for your peace and relaxation. Why not include a steam room or Jacuzzi and create your own home spa?
If you have an underused outbuilding, it might be worth a refurbishment rather than a new build, it is something we frequently do. A sauna takes up surprisingly little space, and the building does not have to be very large.
But whatever your choice it will be a great investment in your body and soul, health and well-being ….. as well as your property!
