Self-contained annexes are an increasingly popular solution to family living, and in commercial situations, staff housing and paying guests.
With careful design and planning many can be built without planning permission, and become an attractive and valuable addition to your property.
Many do not require planning permission, but as they are built as living accommodation with all the necessary services, they are all required to be constructed to Building Regulation Standards, and this is included in our price and service.
Depending on size, design and your location, planning permission may be required, and we can apply for this on your behalf if needed.
As with all we do at SN Garden Rooms, our buildings are bespoke, but you might like one of our previous buildings, the aesthetics of it’s appearance and the layout of the interior, in which case we can build an exact replica. There are floorplans below which you can choose from.
There is great variation in size. We have built small bedsit type buildings, often for home help such as nannys or carers who spend much of their time in the family house, to larger buildings with multiple rooms and lived in by a couple or small family.
Prices start from around £34,000 incl vat.
Refurbishment
Not only do we build from new, but at SN Garden Rooms we also specialise in the refurbishment and renovation of existing outbuilding.
It is surprising what we can do, even to a building that you may consider beyond the point of repair, and the savings over a completely new build can be substantial.
